FAQ
FAQ for founders building a SaaS, extension, or app launch plan
Go-to-market planning, Pulse and Launch Plan pricing, ChatGPT and Claude comparisons, Product Hunt launches, and how the Strategy Engine builds your launch plan.
The Strategy Engine
ChatGPT and Claude are strong for one-off prompts and quick drafts. Stratts runs separate steps with independent outputs: live competitor research, a strategy check against your budget and hours, automated quality checks, and a drafting pass that expands your hardest formats into ready-to-send drafts. You get one structured launch plan with channel priorities, drafts you can paste today, and checklists matched to your constraints.
Unlikely. The engine layers your team size, budget, and technical stage on top of live competitor research. Two founders in the same niche still get different strategies because their constraints differ.
The Strategy Engine draws on consumer psychology, proven go-to-market playbooks for SaaS, browser extensions, and mobile apps, plus a 2026 research layer for how discovery and buying habits are shifting. That includes Goldman Sachs projections that the creator economy could reach $480 billion by 2027 and the 2025 Stack Overflow Developer Survey finding that 84% of developers are using or planning to use AI tools. Your plan reflects what is working now for your niche.
Usually under 5 minutes. The Strategy Engine is doing a lot behind the scenes, including competitor research, strategy validation, and draft generation for the asset types you flag in intake. You get a complete report with evidence and next steps.
Is Stratts for Me?
Start with a focused go-to-market plan and clear channel priorities matched to your runway. Stratts builds positioning, a sequenced launch checklist, and first-user tactics around your budget and time. The plan covers organic channels (community, content, partnerships) and calls out paid options only when your constraints allow. Pulse members can also draft Product Hunt, Reddit, and outreach posts in the Launch Engine.
Yes. Stratts is built for developers and founders who ship without a marketing team or agency retainer. You enter your real budget, weekly time, and stack constraints, and the Strategy Engine builds a practical plan you can execute yourself.
Yes, especially before you have traction. If you have a working product and a rough idea of who it's for, you're ready. A plan now saves weeks you'd otherwise spend on the wrong channels.
That is exactly why the engine factors in your constraints. If your budget is zero, the plan prioritizes organic channels, community launches, partnerships, and sharp positioning. We build the strategy around the resources you actually have.
Yes. The engine performs live research during every run, so it can identify trends and competitor gaps even in highly technical markets. The plan is built from market data for your specific niche.
